From the outset it is important to know if your insurance covers weight loss surgery. Many insurances do not. Others will try to avoid paying, or delay surgery by insisting on detailed documentation of failed medically supervised weight loss programs.

Even overnight admission for an adjustable gastric band can be very costly. Hospitals, insurers and our office insist that precertification is obtained before admission formalities can be completed.

We will be happy to provide you with the current fees for any of the procedures we perform and can arrange for an estimate of the hospital admission costs as well.
