Susan sells new cars and liked to drive a sporty ragtop that was almost too small for her to fit into when she came asking about weight loss surgery. Although tall she weighed 330 pounds and could not reach her feet. She had a very supportive husband who encouraged her throughout her journey to become a smaller person. In the first year after her laparoscopic gastric bypass she lost 140 pounds. By two years she weighed 140 pounds and had undergone plastic surgery to tighten up areas that had become stretched. She can now fit comfortably into that zippy convertible, but more importantly her marriage was stronger than ever and she was able to do things she could only have dreamed doing before losing weight.
