For many patients this is the start of a lifelong relationship so it is wise to consider more than just availability of the first appointment, insurance participation or cost.
Many practices employ junior or non-medical personnel to respond to questions or problems that arise after hours. It is our practice for the surgeon to respond in person to your medically related questions as promptly as possible, and at any time if it is urgent. Administrative and billing questions are handled during normal business hours. With a small and experienced staff these questions can usually be answered quickly.
